Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coparently web and mobile application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Coparently provides shared family calendars, custody scheduling, messaging, expense tracking, and record keeping for co-parenting families. Features may change as the service evolves.
2. Your Account
You must provide a valid email address and be an adult (18+) to create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
3. Your Family Workspace
Family data is visible to members of your family workspace. Only invite people you are authorized to share family information with. You are responsible for the information you add about others, including your children.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully.
- Harass, threaten, or defame other users.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the service.
- Share another person's information unlawfully.
- Misrepresent your identity or authority.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features (such as email notifications) may require a premium family plan. Fees are described before purchase. Premium plans renew until cancelled; you can cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are generally non-refundable.
6. Availability and Changes
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features, and will give notice where reasonable.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not a legal, medical, or financial services provider, and the Service is not a substitute for professional advice, court orders, or legal counsel.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
